What are we to do for entertainment once May goes? – Gove?

The impending demise of Theresa May’s government will be a sad loss to many of us who have been relying on our daily fix of gallows humour to keep us entertained. While many have been, and in some cases still are, deluding themselves that the EU is our friend and will negotiate a fair deal’ when it still thinks it can reverse Brexit, it must be finally dawning on them that this has always been a binary choice of IN or OUT and with ‘out’ meaning ‘hard’ or whatever euphemism one might want to apply.  L’humeur Anglais meanwhile remains one of our great exports and while it will be sad not to see Andy Serkis reprise his May/Smeagol/Gollum performance, just think what he could do with Michael Gove should he manage to replace Mrs May. But, then again, Gove already does a brilliant rendition of  Smeagol/Gollum!
